Almost everyone moves the stop to the entry price and believes they can no longer lose. Not true: you still pay the commission and swap on that trade.
With numbers
0.50 lots on EURUSD with $7 commission. If you exit "at zero" on price, you exit at −$7. Over twenty trades that is $140.
The three options Onyx gives you
Below entry: you give the trade room. It can still lose a little, but you avoid being taken out by noise.
Exactly at entry: the classic. Zero on price, but you lose the fees.
Above entry, covering costs: real break even. Onyx reads what your broker charged on that trade and moves the stop just enough to exit at true zero.
When it triggers
You choose how much profit is needed before the stop moves. Setting it too early is a common mistake: it takes you out of good trades that were only breathing. If that happens often, raise the trigger.
